Flying Spaghetti Monster Ornaments

Making Flying Spaghetti Monster ornaments turned out to be easier that I thought.

Stuff
Less than $10 is materials.
The bits and pieces.

Some pasta does not require cooking. Just some hot glue and bending.

When using hot glue don’t lick your fingers!

I twisted two “tentacles” into a loop then up for the eyes. Pinching the tops around.

Structure

A wire ornament hook to hang it.

I made 9 all together.

March of the Flying Spaghetti Monsters!

I had no idea what I was doing when I started.

I might give a couple away to Atheist’s I know that put up trees.

touched by his noodly appendage!

And here is a whole bunch on the tree.

If you look close you can see the ornament.

It was actually really easy to make these. Pipe cleaners, pom poms, wiggly eyes, hooks and hot glue. I did it while watching TV.

If you make your own send me a picture of yours!

Intro Blog

Hello and welcome to the Magrathea Chronicles.

I noticed that many Twitter users are also Bloggers.  I asked around and heard WordPress.com is one of the best services to use.  Once upon a time, prior to the internet, I used to write Zines.  As Blogs emerged, I knew Zines were done for.  It took me a while to get into this.  I always miss the cutting and pasting and sticky glue stick fingers of Zining.  Zines are an art.  But you know what? Digital is just fine.

I wanted to introduce my Blog during the supposed May 21st Rapture.  I was told that at 6 P.M. New Zealand time, the global Earth Quake will rock the tombs open, then roll west at 6 P.M.with each time zone. So at 2 A.M.(Eastern Standard Time) the Rapture would be in full swing. This is when I will post this to my blog.

I figured this would be a good enough time to come online as a Blogger.  I’ve been checking out other people’s Blogs and enjoying them.  As a Blogger I don’t want to limit myself to just Atheist ideas but also to life experiences.  Being alive is great, it’s so much better than being dead.  Running more than 140 characters is going to be a nice change.

Cheers
